When fed daily from puppy age to 18 months of age, it supports the entire connective tissue apparatus such as ligaments, tendons and joints, ensures the development of strong, elastic bones and optimises the development of a healthy, firm set of teeth.

It supports the elastic strength of the bones and thus prepares the skeletal system and the dentition for the extremely high stress to which dogs are subjected in service and training. Green-lipped mussel meal from the green-lipped mussel Perna canaliculus strengthens connective tissue structures such as ligaments, tendons and joint cartilage by means of glycosaminoglycans such as chondroitin sulphate and hyaluronic acid
