Here you can see a few clips of Odin tracking on terrain that is quite challenging due to the prolonged dry spell
- What’s important to us here is that the dog shows a high level of commitment, or a strong desire to find the objects – we’re not too bothered if the dog double-checks, as seen in the video
- For our own safety, we’ve marked the objects with a marker at intervals of approximately 2 metres. Important – pay attention to the wind direction! Odin also sees the objects as a reward 👍🏻
- You can also see Odin’s behaviour at a so-called ‘tread plate’, where he has learnt from a young age to work backwards to find the angle – many thanks to Stefan Müller for the brilliant idea. This way, if he ever runs past an angle in future, he won’t simply carry on running forwards.
– At the last object, he’ll still get a dog biscuit as usual
